johngeb Posted December 28, 2003 Share Posted December 28, 2003 Hello all, I have had an 18 Gallon reef system setup for 8 months now. Not doing as good as it should but being I'm still a bit new to this, I'm still learning. I want to setup a Refugium with my Eclipse 20 gallon. I would like to set it up about 36" from the top of the reef. I have no room where my reef is for a table or stand. So the closest piece of stand I have is my entertainment center. I can stick it on the very top and out of the way. But it does require some distance from the Reef water level. I would use a hang on but I'm trying to eliminate my Prizm skimmer and heater from the main tank. also do not have the room in the back of the tank for one. Would like to hear some ideas or suggestions on using the Eclipse or anything else. My purpose for including a Refugium is to lower my nitrites, nitrates, & phosphates. To create an almost perfect environment for the reef tank. Thanks John Link to comment
