playful1
Just got my new 18" CPR Fuge.....Yeah Christmas.....and I know I need to drill a break but is it right below the waterline on the outflow tube???Thanks Link to comment
Pigup
it's up to you, it needs to be somewhere where the amount of water siphoned is not enough to overflow yer sump or whatever you have. having it right below the water line will mean that the water level needs to decrease only a small distance to break the siphon. onthefly
Sorry for the late reply playful1, The break needs to be on the inlet pipe! The outlet won't flow if the unit loses power (except for the small amount of water in the pipe), the inlet will "backsiphon" until the water levels in the fuge and tank equailze.....or you drill a small (tiny even) hole in the hortizontal portion of the inlet in the fuge. Putting it off to the side will minimize the amount of water lose. Link to comment
