Rampy
What Kind of glue Should I use, for frags attaching? Link to comment
2manytanks
Super Glue Gel Works good on hard skeleton corals.....not so good on softies Any Gel will work. LocTite makes one, Zap, or if your near a hobby store you can get bigger bottles for a lot less. Link to comment
bones_bones
Ok, I'm new at this, but just let me make sure of something... This stuff is not toxic??? Will it set under water? Link to comment
2manytanks
yep..sets under water... I've had good results with hard corals using this basic procedure.. This doesn't work so well for softies. 1. dry attachment point of frag w/toweling 2. put superglue gel on frag at attachment point. Put a goodly amount, but not so it's running down the frag or your arm 3. dip in water for like 10 secs. just so the glue skins. 4. put a little more glue on (out of water) 5. quickly press the frag where you want it, and hold it there for like 30-60 sec. Also, there are alot of sites that show you pics and go into more detail....google... HTH Link to comment
