ksupermnp
I have a 70w Aqualine mh over my minibow and wanted to know if a piece of pyrex will sufficiently block the uv rays. At the moment I have a piece of car window tinting that "blocks 99% of harmful uv rays" under the pyrex- do I really need the window tint or will the pyrex do the same thing? Thanks Link to comment
wetworx101
Im not sure who holds the patent on pyrex, but you would prolly have to contact them to be sure. It really depends on the iron/metal content of it, as well as thickness, and I dont think anyone here would know... Link to comment
Ed-N
Try some Lexan from HD. Blocks UV very well. Ed Link to comment
