Jeff D2 Posted December 24, 2003 Share Posted December 24, 2003 Most of the time lighting is used to let you see the critters in the tank, and also to keep the critters that need light alive:) The pink one is probably actinic 03, makes alot of the corals with certain pigments in them glow, kinda like a black light for a reef. * kinda like a black light, don't use one for this purpose needs to be the actinic. The other lights come in a assorted color spectrums, 6500K is the minimum most use, 10000K is the color I perfer mixed with the actinic. hth Jeff Link to comment
skybat77 Posted December 24, 2003 Author Share Posted December 24, 2003 ok now i have 4 13w pc over my 2.5 i have 2 actinic and 1 white. should i get another white or a actinic 03. all i have in the tank is some zoos a bubble coral and a cup coral. i want to add two sexy shrimp soon Link to comment
