Tempest Posted December 30, 2003 Share Posted December 30, 2003 Freshwater dips will get rid of parasites attached to the fish (the white spots), but will not get rid of the ick that is in the water. If the fish get sick again (with Ick) I'd use a hyposalinity treatment even though its a PIA. Also, feed the fish food soaked in garlic (use a few drops of Garlic Extreme). It boosts their immune systems and makes them taste yucky to the parasites. Copper treatments work, but will kill coral and inverts. Link to comment
