PDS RX Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 I just got a oceanic pure flow II R/O system and have two questions. When you are done getting the amount of water that you want can you just leave the water in the clear canisters till you want to use it next time ( I know not a long time but i use it once a week) or do I have to drain the filter canisters. And when I hooked the system up to my sink my sink would leak from the bottom.... a lot, so I have been using the hose and its works good but was wondering if i could get a shower adapter is possible? AZDesertRat Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 Leave the water in the canisters, you do not want the membrane or DI resin to dry out. I have not seen a shower adapter but most shower necks are just 1/2" or maybe 3/4" pipe thread so I am sure it is possible if you have a dedicated shower and not a tub shower combo with the little pull up knob on the tub spigot which would lose all your pressure. I use mine on the cold water side of the washing machine with a brass wye adapter like for garden hoses, maybe $5 at HD or Lowes. Link to comment
