lousybreed
So most supplements seem nothing more than lab grade chemicals dissolved in water. Are their any naturally derived supplements for the aquarium? It just seems weird that in this hobby we utalize lots of natural process like live rock filtration compared to undergravel filters, fuges compared to a million different types of media or filters, ect. Does this make sense? It seems like the more we learn about this hobby the less complicated the equipment becomes. Does anyone sell "natural" additives for the aquarium? Just a thought I had while driving home today... Link to comment
fcruz420
Im tagging along for the responses as I've wondered about this as well. I've seen a few threads stating pickled lime, vodka dosing, etc. Is their a thread with the main ones used? Link to comment
reefer916
The most natural is using actual Ocean saltwater. One of my local LFS's is carrying it and selling it for 1.30 per gallon Link to comment
