jonnyfalmouth Posted February 9, 2010 Share Posted February 9, 2010 I have a biocube 14 the water looks like mountain dew ive done water changes and ran carbon and filter floss with no change i belive it is algae but its just the water that is green ive tried everything except chemicals can someone please help Link to comment

You can filter it out all ya want, but till you fix the source, your gonna have green water. Same goes for chemical additives. Let's see, green algae needs light to grow. How old is the tank? How old are the bulbs? What kinda light setup ya got? Lights on a timer? How long are lights on? Is tank near a window or does it get indirect light for a good part of the day?
