MrConclusion Posted December 24, 2003 Share Posted December 24, 2003 If you need to correct the tank's salinity, then yes it's OK. For instance, dosing additives tends to raise the tank's Specific Gravity slowly, so when I do partial water changes, the replacement water is mixed to a slightly lower SG. Top-up water should be ZERO salinity, because only pure water is being lost due to evaporation. Link to comment
