meekz
What do you think of this type of red sea salt? http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=...IwAg#ps-sellers Link to comment
steviejitsu
i used it for 4+ months. its fine. Donno about other mixes though. I've heard Tropic Marin is one of the best. If you haven't bought yet, i would go with tropic marin cause i heard so much good about them. As long as you do water changes to replenish all the levels your fine with any salt in my opinion Link to comment

neanderthalman
Red Sea is good stuff - great value for your money. Tropic Marin may be better, but it's also substantially more expensive. Link to comment
usnret
I used RedSea Coral pro for 12 weeks, took along time to mix and there was always sedament left in the bottom of my mixining container, wiped container with paper towel and the paper towel was yellow and I couldn't run my skimmer for at least 24 hr after water changes it would fill up with foam. I was told by a LFS they made RedSea salt from the brine from desalination plants on the Redsea after the brine dryed outside in the desert the salt was packaged so who knows whats in the mix (sand, bird/camel crap or what ever. I have switched to all Tropic Marine products and I'm very pleased with there products. Link to comment
