jjharrisx4 Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 You probably read about people using macroalgaes such as caulerpa to help with nutrient export in their tanks. The idea is to use the algae to consume the excess nutrients (sorta like fertilizer) and then trim the algae and dispose (properly of course) or trade with someone else. The algae will continue to grow and consume nutrients, and you continue to trim...etc.. Link to comment
