jackaninny Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 5 weeks into this tank (Biocube 29) and all water tests look good: Ammonia - 0 Calcium - 420 Nitrate - 5 Nitrite - 0 Phosphate - 0 pH - 8.4 Salinity - 1.027 Temp - 78.3 Last night I fired up the Tunze 9002 and overnight it gave me a cup full of really light tea colored water and some foam on top. I think this unit still needs tweaking but I'm working on that. I've also been running a media basket with filter floss, Purigen, and Chemi-Pure Elite in that order from top to bottom. Today my water is a little cloudier than last night and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the skimmer. Thoughts? Here's a picture showing the cloudiness: Link to comment
