darwin604 Posted December 19, 2003 Share Posted December 19, 2003 Depends completely on lighting, water conditions, existing stuff on your live rock, etc etc etc. I put a peice of regular base rock in my tank about 3 months ago and its getting some fairly decent coraline algae spots on it, a bunch of little tube worms, some hair algae (yay!) and a few other unidentifiable things growing on it . . it blends in fairly well. But thats just in my tank . . the only way to really find out is to try it. d. Link to comment
