adinsxq
i don't know the exact species, but either way, i thought i'd share. i'm guessing it came on the rock of yumas that it's growing on, but i can't be sure - i've had the piece for several months. (cool huh?) Link to comment
adinsxq
or maybe it's something else? Link to comment
tinyreef
that's something you don't see everyday. ??? are they growing on a connected stolon of some sort? the fact that they're lined up so perfectly is an unusual quality. any polyps stick out, nocturnal maybe? the craters is the other thing. looks more songe-like. maybe it's a sponge, color would be right. if it wasn't for the crater-effect, i'd guess a stoloniferan some type. Crakeur
looks spongeworthy to me. touch it. if it retracts, it is not a sponge. Link to comment
