lily Posted January 24, 2010 Share Posted January 24, 2010 Hey! I'll make this quick: my lfs store gave me like 5 gallons of saltwater RO/DI water last week, I only asked for two. Anyways, I have it stored in my water container sealed tightly. I am just wondering if I can use it if it is a week old. There hasn't been any flow or light, it's just been sitting in the container. NanoReefNovice Posted January 24, 2010 Share Posted January 24, 2010 Keep the SW moving (airstone or powerhead) and away from light and you can keep it a lot longer then a week. You can tell bad water by the smell, if it smells bad then its bad. Link to comment
