Nano Fuge and lighting Questions

Hey there.

Whats the minimum amount of lighting to grow algae suitable for use in a Refugium? And what species would be best? the Refugium size would be 12"high x 12" Long x 4.5" wide. I know the depth might be a problem? i have an 8W powerglo bulb that fits perfectly at the moment, would it gove enough light even if i raised the height where the algae would be using coral gravel?

 

Also a good UK web site to buy light fixtures (Not neccessarly aquatic) would be brilliant.

I would use a 13watt powercompact light...keep it on 24/7.
