mtglore
Hi All, I feel a bit embarrassed about asking this question, but my uncertaintly is a bit too overwhelming. I recently bought an Ebo-Jager Model TS 50 watt heater from www.customaquatic.com. I assumed it was completely submerisble and I have seen pictures and read descriptions of people submerging them. Moreover, the descriptions of these heaters for sale indicate that they (i.e., the TS models) are submersible. However, mine has a water line near the top that says "DO NOT IMMERSE BEYOND WATER LEVEL." Additionally, the installation instructions show the heater only partially submersed with about 1" of it above the water level. NOWHERE in the instructions does it indicate that the heater is submersible. SO, I guess my question is, does anyone have an Ebo-Jager with similar markings and/or instructions? Is it safe to completely submerge them? Thanks for any help or comments. p.s. Could I use the verbal and/or adjectival forms of "submerge" a couple more times? Link to comment
