zzpw3x
I have RO water available but no DI. Do I need it? What happends if I don't get it? Also, I have well water which is very soft. I don't know if this will have any impact on the requirement for DI or not so I am throwing it out there. THanks, Dale Link to comment
Physh1
Well, DI and RO are both individually good filters. DI by itself it usually a bit better than RO by itself but either one is considerably better than just straight tap/well water. I run DI filters now myself and have had zero problems. I have also run RO only w/o issues. The combo units are best but not 100% needed...the RO itself is fine as long as you keep up on maintenace...that should be the same regardless of what method you use. Cameron Link to comment
