surfy Posted December 12, 2003 Share Posted December 12, 2003 The more the better. If you can get a 32w or two that would be good enough. Your lighting will work but they will grow slower. The lower kelvin bulbs speed up growth some but you will want a 03 to help them keep their bright colors. Most of my zoo's seem to darken up and lose their bright florecent colors under pure daylight and little 03. Heavy feeding will also speed up their growth, but watch your water quality. After they start growing wild then you could try useing alot more 03 for a real cool florecent tank. Link to comment
