aqua_aaron
I plan to set up a 15 gal nano and as soon as it starts cycling, I'm going to start on the lights. I want to make my own hood, but wanted to know what everyone else with this tank has. I want the cheapest way to add decent PC wattage. For a while I was looking at a 96 watt quad, and then at 3 36 watters. Any good ideas? Has anyone used 55 watters or even 65 watters? Thanks, aqua_aaron Link to comment
Jahkaya
65's will be too long. 3x36 would be the best. Since the 15 is so tall I would recommend halide if you planned to keep clams or other high light species Link to comment
wetworx101
A nice 150watt or 175watt halide would light that baby up reaaaal nice and allow you plenty of light for anything. Link to comment
aqua_aaron
Considering I'm only going to keep mushrooms, various polyps, xenia, and an open brain, would 2x36 be sufficient? If not, I may just buy a 96 quad. Thanks, aqua_aaron Link to comment
