Ich? I want to make sure before i treat

No I have a Blue tang with, not spots, but more like a tiny white threads or hair coming off the tangs body. About 3 millimeters in length. There's about 4 of them, on one side.

 

I'm not 100% sure its ich, because everything i ever read about ich is that the spots are more like flecks of salt rather than long and thin.

 

Thers only about 5 of these on one side of the body. And the fish seems ok, swimming happily, not scratching or anything.

 

 

 

I was wonder if i should put the fish through the stress of hyposalinity yet? I think i should get a positive id on whats on his side before doing this.
