siskiou
I've just discovered that what I had thought were a type of small tube worm, are actually hydroids. I don't have a digital camera, but here is a picture I found during my search hydroids The pic is the fourth one on the page. Is this type of hydroid generally a problem? Its numbers have not increased during the last six months (it was one of the first things to pop up during cycling), and they are all growing on one rock only, along with a xenia. I guess I could transfer the xenia and take out the rock to scrub, if it's desperately necessary, but if this type of hydroid is not that agressive, I'd rather not. So far, I haven't found any specific info about this specific type of hydroid. Siskiou Link to comment
dickie52
unless you are planning on keeping dwarf seahorses, it shouldn't be a major problem... Link to comment
heuerfan
I have hydroids and they don't bother anything. You will eventually see more of them popping up. Off topic, dickie52, love your avatar. Got any to sell? Link to comment
