Infiniti Posted December 9, 2003 Share Posted December 9, 2003 so i came home from houston to find my tank looking very disguisting. i was gone for 3 days. i set the photoperiod to 6 hrs a day. algae was everywhere... all on the glass and corals. my glove polyp and hammer completely stopped opening. is it because of the algae? anyone with helpful info is greatly appreciated. btw, my setup is: 10g tank 1 clown 20lbs ls candy cane 15lbs lr some shrooms HOB hammer 2 minijets frogspawn csl lights glove polyp had 2 t snails sun coral just added 3 cone snails and 1 more t snail water change 1-2 g/wk with distilled pH was at 8.4 now reads 7.4 NH3/NH4 - 0 NO2 - 0 NO3 - 10ppm Link to comment
