darwin604
I've not noticed over the past few days a small shrimp poking his head and feelers out of a hole in my LR. I can never see his whole body but he's got what look like black and white banded antennae and from what I can see of his head it appears to be red. He's really shy and I havent been able to snap a shot yet/ Just wondering if anyone has an idea of what it may be. I estimate he's about 1 cm long. I was thinking he might be a blood shrimp but his antennae seem proportionally longer and are black / white. any ideas / pics would be great! d. Link to comment

darwin604
Damn . . I was afraid of it being a mantis but I found that none of the pics I found of them had the black/white striped antennae. The closes match I could find was actually a 'marble' shrimp as far as the head goes . .but this one appeared to be red. I'm making a DIY moonlite right now so maybe when its installed I can catch the little bugger out at night and snap a shot. d. Link to comment
