RockinSmall
So.. ive tested my ph so i can decide which Randy-Holmes DIY two part to make tomorrow. However, I can never tell what my ph is! When i set the tube in front of the card with no light passing through it can be anywhere from 7.8-8.2, but when i have it in the light it looks more like 8.4. When its in mild lighting it looks like none of them, more of a rusty red... How should i best read it, are there pictures out there of what color the liquid should be at each level. Is there a different test kit i could use to be more certain? Link to comment
Mr. Fosi
Use natural white sunlight to read it. Cool white fluorescent can work in a pinch. Link to comment

rahorman
I have the same exact problem...When I hold the tube right against the white card, it is a completely different color from when I hold it a few inches away from the card, but in front... Link to comment
