maroonclown Posted December 7, 2003 Share Posted December 7, 2003 MH is a bit tricky for a tank that small. Personally, I think it would be easier to run 2-32watt PCs over a 5 gallon. If you want halides, you will need a 70watt HQI, good canopy fans, and I would recomend a sump to help add more water for cooling. 2-32 watt PCs will get the job done. Besides, thats almost 12 watts per gallon, and that's more than enough for most corals. Link to comment
