Isaka
Hi, I did a search on these suckers and only came up with 2 hits (unless I am spelling it wrong). Whats the opinion on these? Can they turn themselves over? Are they decent algae eaters? Good conversationalists? etc, etc, thx Link to comment
birdman204
trochus can be big dogs, go for nassarius, stomatellas, ceriths, maybe bumble bees. Link to comment
msf
They're great algae eaters. But they're really big and clumsy- I've never seen one turn it self over. Link to comment
Isaka
Thanks for the input, does anyone out there have a link to a website with pictures of all the different kind of snails? I don't want to go to my LFS not knowing what they each look like. Thx again. Link to comment

MrKrispy
I thought I read that trochus snails could right themselves, that is their advantage over the astreas. I certainly could be wrong though. Trochus are hard to find in So cal for me at least. Aquatic Warehouse tries selling me astreas and say they're trochus. I think they are related but they aren't the same. Link to comment
MrKrispy
Gotta fess up, I went to AW later today and they had about a dozen trochus. Of course I got one....an another emerald. And a few more scarlets. And some coral. Damn. Link to comment
