English Joe
Thx for the f/b. I've aquascaped the LR and have been messing with the pumps, and have found position where they give good turbulance. Sitting watching bits of detritus from the LRs be pushed all over the tank. There don't appear to be any dead spots. Do u think I should add a couple more pumps just in case? Link to comment
tinyreef
Do u think I should add a couple more pumps just in case? i always advocate backups/extras: heater, carbon, bulbs, water/salt, and ammonia detox are the basics tools for omgwtf situations ime. bulbs you can maybe wait until your first change (6~10 months) to save money. hold the old bulbs as emergency backups to allow for shipping time for replacements.
