bfields
I have never had a reef tank and want to setup a 10 gallon. What setups work best and are the easiest to maintain? What types of inhabitants would you recommend? What do I need to do to maintain it? I appreciate any advice given! Link to comment

HuBu
yeah the 10 gal i have right was my very first reef tank, or better yet my very first introduction into reefing. the set-up is ratehr simple. i have a penguin 125 bio-filter on the tank without any media. a rio 400 powerhead for additional circulation. a 50W heater. 2 36W PC, on being 6.5k daylight and the other a blue bulb. around 20# of LR, 15# LS. thats the setup. if you search for "HuBu's 10 gal" youll find pics of my tank. good luck man.
