darwin604 Posted November 30, 2003 Share Posted November 30, 2003 Okay, I just installed my Coralife 96w hood on my 10 gal and it looks great. Tons of light compared to the old 28 watter. However, I have some run-of-the-mill purple/reddish common shrooms in there and they are located close to the top of the tank. I've been told they do okay under lower light . . does this mean they need lower light to thrive? Will they be okay near the top of the tank with the 96w fixture? Just checking. d. Link to comment
