snikt83
Ok so i have aquired a 29g r/o unit, hob, powerhead, heater, ag sand...and lots of ammonia. Saturday i put the r/o water in and mixed in the salt....sunday added ag. sand...monday morning woke up to a clear warm salty filled tank. (75 and 1.023) Anywho Tuesday(today) I went to the LFS had them run a test on my water..partly for fun. The lady ran over the test results with me explaining each step. nitrites..0 nitrates..0 ph was fine.. but ammonia was off the chart!! is this normal for a tank that has nothing but sand salt and water in it? I mean it has been set up for 3-4 days...with no LR I am confused i had expected clear readings...i dunno lets talk about it.. Brandilynn Link to comment
