LambdaboyX
Is a power head such as the penguin 550 necessary for water movement, or will my current power filter/bio wheel (penguin 270 I think) give my 10 gal tank enough water movement? Link to comment
Reefer_Buddha
rule of thumb is usually 10-15 times the amount of the tank per hour. so 100-150 would be an ok estimate. I always go with more is better as far as movement to help with gaseous exchange and keeping the cyano at bay for a while. Link to comment
