reefriot Posted July 8, 2002 Share Posted July 8, 2002 has anyone tried these and what did you think about them? i have a freind that bought one of the 214's when they first came out for his freshwater tank and his snails kept jamming it up. they seem to fetch a high price on ebay and was just wondring how long they have been lasting in saltwater. i was going to use the mini jets and micro jets for my new 18gal nano but thought a wavemaker would be a nice addition, and these seem like they would keep the cost down compared to a wavemaker, but are they garbage or not thanks all aaron Link to comment

In the 4 weeks that I have had that tank up and running I have had to clean it twice. I still like it as the maint. is a good trade for the water movement. Link to comment
