blk_g20
i just bought an AC500 last night and silliconed a baffle inside the chamber to create a refuge area, much like the one mentioned in another AC500 refuge thread. i want to know what type of macro algea to put in it. i see lots of people on RC selling sandwich bags of various macro for $10, but i'm not sure which kind to get. i am aware that the caulerpa(sp) is illegal in California, but i dont see hows thats gonna stop anybody from using it. onthefly
Portions of Del Mar are being wiped out by an inadvertant Caulerpa "dump".....same thing happend in the Med. Try searching ebay for chaetomorpha. It doesn't go "sexual" like caulerpa and grows in nice compact balls...easy to trim, great for pod growth, yada, yada, yada.....There's a guy selling it for $10 + some stomatellas. Link to comment
