snookface1
I just got a AC 300 and was planning to install my EBO-Jager 50w heater in the HOB filter. When I place it in the HOB I can tell it wont be submerged to the line which says Min water depth. What do you guys do? Link to comment
Crakeur
put it in an area where it will be submerged. In the tank, right under the outflow of the hob would suffice. Link to comment
snookface1
I really wanted to put in the HOB. Do you know of a smaller heater or do you think I can get by with in not having it to the min mark? Link to comment

colemanitis
I had the same problem with my Ebo. I swapped it for a 50w Tronic - it's doing a great job. Good luck! Link to comment
Reefer_Buddha
my first question would be why didnt you measure it before you ran out and bought an ac300? Link to comment
palaegic
Run the AC w/out the media basket. Then angle the heater in the outflow chamber. If you choose to use media such as carbon, place it in a filter bag and drop in the chamber. Link to comment
