No, I do believe they include that's needed with it, or they have a place to select how you plan to hook it up, whether hose bib adaptor, faucet adaptor or another method.

Nope, none at all. Its a good RODI unit, I love mine.

My only advice/complaint is the faucet diverter they include is a piece of crap. It busts apart really easily from water pressure if you screw it on too tight so just be cautious if you ever plan on screwing it onto your sink.

Is space an issue? If not I would order a full size RO/DI unit. Any unit can be used portable with a faucet adapter and put away but a full size will be cheaper to operate. Full size replacement cartridges will last longer, you will have a better selection to choose from as far as micron sizes and quality and they are more readily available. Smaller cartridges do not last as long, are harder to find and are more expensive to replace.

I second that. If you have horrible water you will go thru resin like it is going out of style spend the extra few dollars and get a bigger unit. OR go to the marketplace and join the bulk reef supply group buy and wait till october 6th and get a full size unit for about the price of this unit. The group buy saves you money.

Or buy the $149 unit here now which is $100 off for a limited time and comes with a TDS meter, inline pressure gauge, bulk tested and treated RO membrane and custom blended SilicaBuster DI resin in a full size 20 oz 10" vertical canister. It may take up about 6" more room than the compact type units but performs so much better.

AWI also makes good full size units as does Buckeye with their 75 GPD Premium for $169 here:

Again with a pressure gauge and TDS meter

or PurelyH2o here for $149 but no TDS meter:
