jay2k2
in my mind margarita snails suck a big nut because everytime they fall off the glass and land on their back, they die. that has been my experience with them. i have lost 3 snails becuase i failed to turn them back over! Link to comment

Sahin
Astrea snails are supposed to die in such a way too. So far mine dont seem to be that dumb They do a good job of keeping the glass clean. Now I just need a few critters to keep the sand clean. Link to comment

NaNO ReeFiN
I currently have 3 astreas and they're the hardest working snails I've ever seen... and none of them have fallen on their backs. Link to comment
Sahin
Nano-Reefin Yes, I agree, they work really hard. They deserve more credit than people give them. I have 8 Astreas in my tank and they keep the rocks and glass free of any algae. They do go on the sand, but only the larger two. I guess I need soemthng that goes into the sand huh? Link to comment
Korbin
My banded trochus go in the sand quite a bit. Link to comment
