beccatech
I have a purple finger coral that has never really had the polyps come out that much but has been doung fine. But this morning when I turned on the lights it was all hunched over and not looking so good. My levels are fine and I just did a water change yesterday. Anyone know what might be going on? Yves
I'd check for anything thats different in your water quality...it really sounds like something was off in your makeup water like ph or kh, if the coral has never done well I'd try moving it to another area of the tank either more/less light or more water flow. I'm assuming that its a finger leather and if so they usually like pretty good water flow...hope this helps- Yves Link to comment
tinyreef
can you provide a positive ID or a pic? it's hard to tell from a general description. it could be a photosynthetic or non-photosynthetic from your description. yves has good points about flow and chemistry but general pointers may not address the true issue.
