z6joker9 Posted November 18, 2003 Share Posted November 18, 2003 this is the best close up pic i've managed to get of him. he's pretty young, slightly over an inch i'd say. he has bolder color than my buddies false perc, and lacks the darker upper half that his false perc has. This was sold as a true percula, i'm just wondering if it really was. if you need a better pic, i might be able to get one tommarrow. thanks! Link to comment
Yves Posted November 18, 2003 Share Posted November 18, 2003 It appears to be a true perc...percs get a thicker black stripe as they mature...I've been told that you can count the dorsal spines for positive id...seven for a true perc if im not mistaken. hope this helps -Yves Link to comment
