Help my alkis about 17 dkh

So I added a calcium reactor with a ph controller. I am stilll not quite sure what happened but the calcium is at 500 and the alk is at 17. The salifert kit only goes to 16 but I added another ml until it reacted. What do I need to do? Of course the reactor is off, but what should I do to bring it down safely? Everything in the tank still looks happy.

As long as everything is still looking happy, I'd let it come down on it's own.

I'd also run the test again to make sure you get the same result, and check the expiration date on the test kit.

Thanks, it took a couple of days to work itself out and everything looked fine the whole time. I dont know where to find the exp date, but all my readings were very consistent.
