Guest LudavicoTechnique
What are the best corals for begginers (specific examples) to start with in a 10 gallon nano w/ 2 x 26w PC and strong current (Powerhead #802) Link to comment
My Alife 7
Basically any types of polyps and mushrooms would be a good begginer coral. (Althought they don't like strong currents...) Link to comment
Strife
as long as you take your time.. read/research in the corals that you like.. you will be able to keep any nano-reef safe corals.. Link to comment
My Alife 7
If you go into the Coral Care section, there's a coral database with some information about a couple hardy corals for begginers. Link to comment
Nishant3789
theres no such thing as a beginner coral. all aquarium corals are doable as long as you have researched them thuroughly and kno that your tank has all the requirements for it. there are a few failsafe corals such as mushroom and green star polyps that are very hard to kill and dont need much research but still do some. hth nishant Link to comment
HuBu
what he probably meant by beginner corals is what corals are hardy. Link to comment
BustytheSnowMaam
I have green button polyps and a toadstool leather- both have withstood quite a bit in my tank (being knocked down by hermits, temperature changes, etc). The leather seems the most forgiving. Tasha Link to comment
