Flipper1
Hi, all! My first post. I recently transferred the contents of my 5.5 AGA nano to a 7 gallon mini-bow. The tank includes an Ocellaris, a Magenta Dottyback, Serpant Star, 5 Blue-legs, Red Mushrooms, and Green Hairy Mushrooms, along with 10 lbs. of LR, and 2.5-3 inches of Southdown. I've got a Visi-Therm 25w heater, Prizm skimmer, and Mini-Jet 404 PH. The PH pumps roughly 105 gph, and the skimmer (after venturi injection) is about 70 gph. Is this enough circulation, or too much, or is it about right? Any opinions welcome, please. Thanks. This thread has been moved to the Beginners Discussion Link to comment
caja
Right now the only circulation I have in my minibow is a AC 150 flowing into the center back of the tank. Link to comment
birdman204
I was running an AC 200 w/ the 100 impellar ( bought off a parts rack ) and 2 microjet450's in my minibow. I now have it replumbed and am running 1 mag3 at 350gph. It depends on what kinda animals you want to keep. With your current inhabitants, what you have will be fine. Link to comment
