tangov559
help me out?? any pics? http://www.current-usa.com/outerorbit.html Link to comment
westcoastreefer84
Why would you wanna sit it on top? Having your lights suspended above the tank has a lot of benefits, besides the abvious benefits, its a real plus to be able to put your hands in your tank and not have to move the light so you actually see what your doing Anyways, its 24 inches long, how long is your bc? tangov559
bc is 20in...i was considering hanging it too.. Link to comment
StevieT
yes it will fit on the BC the legs are adjustable. It will overhand the tank 2" on each side which will cause some aesthetic issues and broadcast light on the floor. A sunpod may be a better option because of length yet the outer orbit is a better light. Link to comment
tangov559
i may be hanging the light..will that be a good idea? Link to comment
westcoastreefer84
Hang it atleast 10 inches and you won't notice any temp fluctuation, it will also be high enough you won't notice its wider You will probably have more evap, but that can be a good thing Edit: current also makes a sundial pendant, its only 15 inches wide, it comes with either a 150 or a 250 hqi and 2 32watt PC actinic supplements I would assume this would be cheaper than the outer orbit, it will also direct more light into your tank for better hrowth Link to comment
