The fish are all doing great except the coral beauty which seems to have multiple problems. I want to take him out and put in the hospital tank.. How to catch? (Net didnt work..) Link to comment

gargoyleexotics Posted November 7, 2003 Share Posted November 7, 2003 We had luck catching a Bi-color angel in one of our tanks using a trap setup. We took a small critter keeper like this one to make a cheap trap: http://www.petco.com/product_info.asp?fami...2=Habitats&ct3= and baited it with food. A rock placed inside will keep it from floating around and if you position it right the lid will stay open. You could probably rig the lid to shut on the fish but we just waited to catch the fish in there and then we just reached in and shut the lid. By the way, we have had luck catching other fish with the same trap. Link to comment
