lighting positioning

Hello,

 

I am going to purchace a JBJ nano cube. I have not seen one in person yet, and I was wondering if there is room to add another power compact.

 

Also this is my first nano. I had a 60 gallon reef for about a year and a half. Im concered about the lighting. The general rule which people treat like its eched in stone is that there needs to be 3-5 watts per gallon. However I have spoke with a few people, and read online that these nanos are so small that the lighting rule doesnt apply..

I installed an extra ez ballast under my Nano cube with another 24w light. It requried modifiying the reflecter, but is working great. I need to have a fan on whren both lights are on to cool the top. It got very hot.
