Fish r cool
Hi, i recently found one of my old aquarium fish magazines and found an article on good fish for nano reef tanks. I am very interested in starting one of these. I have never kept a saltwater tank but have kept freshwater and currently have a couple tanks. I know it is not usually reccomended to start a small salt tank with no salt expirience. I am interested in getting a tank around 7 gallons. I have read up on the basic salt water setup. I was wondering though about the lighting i would need. I am intersted in keeping live rock, coral, some inverts and 1-3 fish. Can someone give me some tips on how to set up a nano reef aquarium for this? Also a list of supplies i will need. THANKS!!!!!!!!!! Link to comment

caja
Here's another link to some articles that will help you get started. http://www.nano-reef.com/info/ A 7 gallon AGA minibow is an excellent choice and the hood can easily be retrofitted with the Custom Sea Life 32 watt power compact kit.
