n0rk Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Here in the warmer parts of Australia, it's really not uncommon to see people running their displays at about 30.5ºC (86.7ºF) or even higher year-round, and to my knowledge, nobody has been able to come up with a viable reason why it can't be done safely. As has been mentioned, if the inhabitants are properly acclimated to such temperatures and it remains fairly constant, there should be no ill effects. Personally I run my smaller systems at about 82 or so, though once I migrate to the bigger system I'm setting up no doubt I'll push back closer to the 86 mark. Link to comment
