cooljackal Posted November 5, 2003 Share Posted November 5, 2003 Just wondering, after looking around and searching the forum, wat i should upgrade my lighting to? The choices are get the 96watt 50/50 with stands or get the 175watt 20,000K bulb with ballast from hellolights for about same price (maybe 10-20 more) and get a diy pendant. Obviously the diy pendant wont reflect as much so hopefully the intensity will go down a bit. I basically want my corals to "thrive" not just be ok. I can put the pendant higher so that bleaching wont occur. I like that i can afford metal halide, just wondering if its for me. Oh yes, and I would like to a couple of sps maybe lps if possible. Any info would be appreciated. Link to comment
