40g SPS Dosing

Hi everyone. basically i just want to find out which method would be easier?

do i need 2-part for a 40g sps or can i get away with kalk and mag?

Any way you choose will work as long as you test for it otherwise it's in vain.

I would use BRS 2-part and also Magnesium, but like amnestia said "TEST"

Have you considered just doing consistent water changes?

I'd start with kalk, then change over once you have a full tank of corals. Once you find your calcium can't keep up with the coral make the switch to two part.

i do plan on testing every second of the day. and i also will be doing weekly water changes.

i am currently doing kalk in my 10g so i will prob use all that up then switch to 2-part.

 

how many times do yall dose throughout the day with 2-part?

and can i just use the 2-part dosing throughout the day for my top off?
